Bluesman Curtis Salgado, an Oregan based blues, rock and blue-eyed soul singer-songwriter has some story to tell. Curtis is an incredible musician who has played with such notables as Santana, Steve Miller and his act was the inspiration behind John Belushi’s creation of the Blues Brothers. But, after being put on pain killers after a gallstone attack, Curtis became addicted and through further medical examination, it was discovered that he had stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver and needed a transplant. 35 years in recovery, Curtis has beaten the odds and is living a clean and sober and musical life.
