Friday’s Show; A Look at Prison Reform

We have another great show scheduled for this Friday. Prison reform is a very important issue and goal for the recovery community and for those in active addiction. For too long, our legal system has been focused on incarceration, when it should be focused on wellness. Our guest on Friday’s show is Nancy Leichter, who lost her father due to a carjacking by three teenagers in 1980. These teenagers were sentenced to life in prison for their crime. Nancy has recently advocated for the release of these individuals. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf commuted their sentences last week and they were released… what a story. Watch us on Facebook on our page “CLEAN and SOBER Radio” during the show. You can call-in at 1-888-329-3306, or just listen on Philadelphia radio station WWDB-AM 860 at 3 (EST) tomorrow (Friday). Our show will be re-broadcasted the following week. Clean and Sober Radio is underwritten by Recovery Centers of America, Thomas Jefferson University, and Jefferson Health, along with Acadia Healthcare. Hosted by Gary Hendler and Co-hosted with Mark SigmundWe appreciate all the support that we receive from our viewing and listening audience and most importantly remember there is help out there.
