Friday’s Show; Kensington “Ground Zero” of the Opioid Crisis

Kensington, a section of Philadelphia Pennsylvania is “Ground Zero” in the United States for a community ravaged by people addicted to heroin and fentanyl and who are actively engaging in this horrific lifestyle outdoors 24 hours a day. The Philadelphia Fire Department has a program called the Alternative Response Unit that is involved in helping those folks struggling with addiction to get treatment 24 hours a day.. Bill Stahl and Captain Tabitha Boyle will be our guests to explain this unique program of helping those on the streets in life threatening physical and mental despair to get help.
